Frequently Asked Questions
  • It is generally recommended to complete the detection of content-related indicators within 3 months, while for enzyme activity-related detection indicators, it is recommended to complete the determination of tissue samples within 1 month (and the fresher, the better).
Note: It does not cover all indicators. Similar issues should be determined by technical personnel based on the stability of specific indicators and sample types.

  • Those that can be adjusted to the corresponding temperature and maintain a constant temperature can be used, such as thermostatic water baths, metal baths, and constant temperature incubators.
Note: The microplate can only be used in a constant temperature incubator, and water baths are not allowed. Water will condense at the bottom of the plate, which will affect the absorbance value detection.

  • For the thawing of frozen reagents or samples, it is recommended to thaw slowly in an ice bath or ice-water bath. If time is limited, most frozen reagents or samples can be thawed at room temperature or in a 37°C water bath (however, some products such as antibiotics are not recommended for thawing in a 37°C water bath by customers). However, extreme caution must be taken, and the process must be observed while gently shaking and melting. Once partially dissolved, the reagent or sample should be removed from the water bath to ensure that it remains close to 0°C during the thawing process. If the reagent or sample does not freeze at 0°C, it can be placed in an ice bath or ice-water bath after thawing.
